Chris Bedford

Chris is a recovering data pipeline developer — Databricks Spark Certified with fading expertise in Scala, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Airflow, K8s and similar platforms. He earned his BS in Computer Science from Yale University (way back in the Internet's Jurassic age), and he co-holds patents for innovations in stream-based data processing and personalization techniques for mobile devices.

These days Chris relies on hordes of AI demons to carry out his mostly TypeScript based development work.

We want to work with people who care about more than a paycheck -- people who want to:

We reject cancel culture -- the deliberately engineered environment in the US where everyone is primed to hate each other. We don't police prospective team members' past tweets. We take inspiration from leaders like Fred Hampton, looking at people where they are now, and whether they're acting in good faith toward our shared goals, without demanding ideological lockstep on everything else.
